Hi Experts,
We are importing data from third parties and storing them in the "Fiscal Year Information" Tab.
The standard functions provided by SAP do cover some of the fields in "Fiscal Year Information" tab like Annual Sales, Capital Stock, Equity Capital, etc.
But there are fields which are not taken care by standard functions. So, as a functional consultant I provided the field which I want to link with custom function and the BADI (Formula Parameters and Functions) provided by SAP to do the same (as per me this is doable).
The technical person working on the object has a different view, as per him the above mentioned BADI can only be used to add custom field and not the function.
My question is has anybody done this before? Is my understanding right that it can be done using the BADI mentioned above? If no, how to accomplish this as we need to use this field in formula editor. Is there any other BADI which we need to consider?
